Hi Alina, do u know what?? What u describe is REBT!! Do u know Albert Ellis, perhaps the most important psychologist ever lived? Check him out - u just discovered the same thing! See for example. his famous book „How to stubbornly refuse to make yourself miserable about anything, yes anything.“
I just found this lovely comment!! I love Albert Ellis, found his work and this very book like a year ago and this letter is very much inspired by his philosophy <3 Ellis's incredible and helped me beyond imaginable in so many areas of life. I think it's also valuable in insomnia recovery - a very robust philosophy on life and challenges 💪
Yes!!! I'm planning once to make a book review on the channel or in a letter (and also on his another book called Myth of self-esteem) - I think there is so much gold in his work. Too bad I read the"stubbornly refuse" only after my insomnia recovery - i bet it would be helpful even back them, but when I read it, it was one of the most relatable books on how to navigate the recovery process, so organized and clear.
I appreciate the more recent newsletter with examples and statements. It helps to put in perspective and practice these ways.

Exactly. Both books were recommended by me in an OCD coaching group.
"OCD recovery" with Rob, Nick, etc? I love what whose guys do for the OCD community
Wow, yes!!! Incredible. Do u suffer from OCD too?
Very helpful in my recovery journey and also a life lesson for pressures that I put on myself for performance/perfection in other areas as well.
Thank you!
